Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a cook to join our kitchen team in the United States. You will prepare dishes, ensure quality, and help maintain a clean, efficient kitchen.

With at least six months of cooking experience, you will work in a fast-paced environment, follow recipes, manage inventory, and uphold safety and sanitation standards on every shift.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience as a cook.
• Ability to stand or walk for the duration of the shift.
• Lifts up to 75 pounds and handles heavy kitchen tasks.
• Must maintain sanitation and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes with speed and precision.
• Monitor food quality and presentation to meet standards.
• Coordinate orders for pickup to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
• Keep workstation clean and organized at all times.
• Manage inventory flow and rotate stock properly.

• Whip up delicious orders with speed and precision, following our tried-and-true recipes
• Keep a keen eye on food production to ensure every plate meets our quality standards
• Coordinate orders for pick-up like a pro, keeping the kitchen running smoothly
• Keep your station sparkling clean and organized—a clean kitchen is a happy kitchen!
• Master the art of smart inventory management by monitoring proper rotation, storage, and quantity control
• Maintain your station inventory and order stock to keep everything running at peak performance
• Champion our safety and sanitation standards every single shift—no exceptions

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of six (6) months of experience as a cook.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for duration of shift.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 75 pounds.
• Other physical requirements of the position include but are not necessarilylimited to reaching, grasping, bending, kneeling, and twisting at the waist.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/orcertifications.
