Base pay range

$18.00/hr - $22.00/hr

Seeking full-time candidates with open availability, especially on weekends. Full-time benefits include company insurance, paid time off, 401k plan (plus employer match), and on-site food discount.

Job Description

Plan, prep, set up, and provide quality service in all areas of restaurant production, including all menu items supplied by the outlet kitchen. Ensure everything is in its place to the satisfaction of the Sous Chef or Executive Chef.

Duties, Responsibilities, and Station Requirements
  • Handle, store, and rotate all food on your station responsibly.
  • Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards set by Home Team.
  • Maintain a clean and organized station, practicing good safety and sanitation during prep and service.
  • AM Back-Up: Set up steam table with water levels and pans, follow ‘Daily Backup Sheet’, and heat food to proper temperatures.
  • PM Back-Up: Check steam table, follow ‘Daily Backup Sheet’, and ensure food is heated to maintain par levels.
  • AM/PM Prep: Follow prep list created by Chef using set recipes.
  • Prepare food items from your station during your shift.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in job functions.
  • Prioritize, organize, and follow through on tasks.
  • Remain calm, think clearly, and resolve problems with good judgment.
  • Work well under pressure and meet production schedules.
  • Handle multiple tasks professionally.
  • Keep a clean and organized work environment.
  • Follow recipes and adjust as needed.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with potential heat and stress.
Physical Requirements
  • Stand during entire shift.
  • Frequent reaching, bending, and stooping.
  • Carry up to 40 lbs. over medium distances, about ten times per shift.
  • Communicate verbally with coworkers.
