Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and collaborating with team members to ensure seamless kitchen operations. Responsibilities
- Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Monitor food freshness and maintain consistent quality
- Assist in receiving and storing inventory deliveries
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Assist in washing, and putting away all restaurant serveware
- Comply with regular cleaning and maintenance duties
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- Regular and consistent attendance at work
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions (i.e. menus/recipes)
- Must be able to stand 5-6 hours a day
- Must be able to squat, reach, bend and lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
- Must have knowledge of food storage/handling techniques

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or the equivalent required
- Some Kitchen Line or Prep Experience desired
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Food Handler’s Certification (or ability to obtain one)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, OR REGISTRATIONS:
- Preference will be given to those candidates with a post high school degree
- Preference will be given to those candidates with a minimum of two years full-time experience in a related hospitality setting or the equivalent education and related work experience
