ESR does not rely heavily on traditional gratuities for employee compensation. Instead, it pays an equitable hourly rate. While gratuities are not expected, any received are split among hourly staff. Additionally, ESR adds a 22% service charge to all checks, which is retained entirely by the house to support excellent customer service and competitiveness.
