Old Spaghetti Factory is seeking a Line Cook to join our kitchen team in San Diego. This role includes paid training and a fast-paced, collaborative environment where accuracy and teamwork shine. You will work closely with chefs to ensure quality and timely pasta dishes while following all safety and sanitation standards.

The position offers ongoing training, a supportive team, and opportunities for skill development as part of our family-owned brand with a long history in casual Italian dining.

Line Cook Job Description:

The Line Cook is a key part of a collaborative kitchen team executing our restaurant's dishes with precision and care. A positive attitude, attention to detail, ability to multitask and work quickly contribute to the success of the Line Cook.

About You:

• You have basic kitchen knowledge, are eager to learn and advance your skills.
• You take pride in your work and enjoy cooking.
• Great at following recipes and step by step instruction with accuracy.
• Enjoy working as part of a fun and collaborative team.
• You prioritize tasks and can manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Safety is a priority.
• Able to lift 40lbs without assistance.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, bend throughout shift.

What You Will Do:

• Work closely with the kitchen team, including chefs and other line cooks, to coordinate orders, communicate special requests, and maintain a harmonious and efficient working environment.
