Job summary

Snooze Queen Creek is seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our breakfast-focused team in Queen Creek, AZ. You will ensure each menu item is prepared with high quality, safety, and timeliness, adhering to recipes and plating guidelines.

The role requires 1 year in the restaurant industry (6 months in high-volume settings preferred) and clear communication with management. Must be 17+ and eligible to work in the US; county certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the restaurant industry.
• 6 months experience in a high-volume restaurant setting preferred.
• Able to communicate clearly with management staff.
• At least 17 years of age and authorized to work in the US.
• All county required food and alcohol serving certifications must be obtained prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the quality, food safety/sanitation, and timeliness of dishes served.
• Be acquainted with all menu items, recipes, plating guidelines, and sanitation/basic safety information.
• Prepares a variety of food items using knives, electric mixers, immersion blenders, food processors, scales, and portion bags.
• Prepares foods for service using ovens, gas stoves, griddles, and broilers.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work station and working area.
• Handles all products properly in accordance with Health Department standards and Snooze guidelines.

The Position Specifics

The Snooze Line Cook ensures that each Snooze food item is prepared with the highest quality, care, and craftsmanship.

• Maintains a clean and sanitary work station and working area
• Handles all products properly in accordance with Health Department standards and Snooze guidelines
