Ruth's Chris Steak House in Portland, OR is seeking a cook to join our team. Pay is location-dependent and benefits are offered, including health insurance eligibility after averaging 30 hours per week, a 401(k) with match, dining discounts, and more.

This role may be used for Sides or Pantry Cook opportunities. Ideal candidates will passionately prepare and portion dishes, ensure plating quality, and work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Passionately prepare, portion, and/or cook food items to quality specifications.
• Ensure exceptional presentation by checking/dressing dishes before they are served.
• Showcase superior dexterity skills to operate cutting tools quickly and safely.
• Measure ingredients and seasonings to ensure correct cooking and flavor profiles.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
