Job summary

HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital in Port St. Lucie, FL, is looking for a Line Cook to support our Nutritional Service Department. Under the FANS Management team, you will prepare hot foods, maintain sanitation, and ensure efficient service with a focus on safety and quality.

You will work to deliver high-quality meals for patients and staff, follow recipes, and maintain a clean, organized kitchen area while providing courteous customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• 1 year of healthcare food and nutrition services experience preferred.
• English language proficiency required.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Line Cook works under the direction of the FANS Management team to ensure that all work is performed utilizing all safety and sanitation guidelines. Performs routine daily tasks related to hot production needs of the Nutritional Service Department. The position will prepare and cook all hot food and related items ensuring a clean and sanitized work area in accord with recipe requirements. Provides the highest level of customer service at all times.

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Diploma or its equivalent, preferred
• One year of experience in healthcare food and nutrition services preferred
• Must be able to speak, write, and read in English
