Job summary

Erickson Senior Living's Cedar Crest Village in Pompton Plains, NJ seeks a Line Cook to prepare and cook menu items, follow recipes and food safety standards, and contribute to a dining experience residents look forward to every day.

You will work alongside fellow cooks and culinary leadership, maintain a clean workstation, and help deliver high-quality meals with a schedule that supports work-life balance and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of cook-to-order experience.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, hot kitchens to cold storage.
• Follow recipes and maintain food safety standards.

Compensation: $21-$24/hour plus a $1,000 Sign-On Bonus

What You'll Do

• Prepare and cook menu items using proper techniques, recipes, and food safety standards
• Execute cook-to-order meals with consistent quality, portioning, and presentation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
• Work side-by-side with fellow cooks, sous chefs, and culinary leadership during service
• Contribute to a dining experience that keeps residents coming back
