Position Summary: We’re seeking a reliable, experienced Line Cook who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and takes pride in preparing high-quality soul food. This role requires speed, consistency, and a strong sense of teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
2. Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
3. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
4. Assist with prep work, plating, and kitchen tasks as needed
5. Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
6. Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff
7. Adapt quickly to busy rushes and large catering orders

Qualifications:

1. 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced kitchen (soul food or catering experience a plus!)
2. Ability to follow recipes and take direction
3. Strong sense of urgency and time management
4. Comfortable working in a team and under pressure
5. Must be dependable, punctual, and professional
6. Food handler’s certification (or willing to obtain)
