Barcadia New Orleans is currently seeking several full-time Cooks.

Major Responsibilities Include

• Prepare lunch and/or dinner
• Review menus prior to food preparation
• Ensure all food procedures are followed
• Coordinate food service with other departments as necessary
• Follow all sanitation guidelines
• Familiarize with new menu items/dishes
• Work as part of a team

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a culinary institute, military school, or formal on-the-job training preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of food preparation experience required
• Experience with high-volume food preparation preferred
• Ability to demonstrate cooking skills and follow established menus and recipes
• Knowledge of cooking burgers and steaks to the correct requested temperature
• Ability to stand for extended periods
