Job summary

Cafe at the Square in New Orleans is seeking reliable cooks for Happy Hour and Dinner shifts. Part time to Full time opportunities, with pay based on experience. You will cook a classic American menu with NOLA specialties from scratch in a fast-paced kitchen.

Ideal candidates bring solid experience across sauté, grill, pantry, and fry stations, enjoy multitasking, and contribute to a respectful workplace. Weekend/holiday shifts may be required.

• Able to work independently and multitask at a fast pace.

Responsibilities

• Cook to order quickly and consistently.
• Plate dishes attractively and neatly.
• Maintain a clean, organized line during service.
• Prep efficiently and demonstrate good knife skills.
• Handle food safely with proper sanitation knowledge.
• Cooperate with team members (BOH/FOH).
• Contribute to cleaning and side work as needed.

For Immediate Hire:

Seeking reliable and well-rounded cooks. Happy Hour and Dinner. No late nights.

Part time to Full time shifts possible. Pay rate may be higher, based on experience.

Busy restaurant/bar with a classic menu of American basic dishes and NOLA specialties, cooked authentically from scratch. We have a tight crew who value cooperation and a respectful workplace.

Applicant must have solid experience including sauté, grill, pantry, and fry stations, and must enjoy working independently and multitasking at a fast pace.

We are open every day of the year, so weekends and holidays may be required.
