Position Overview: As a Line Cook at Villa Restaurant Group, you will be essential in preparing ingredients, ensuring the kitchen is well-stocked and ready for service. Your attention to detail and dedication to food quality will support the success of our culinary team.

What You’ll Do:

• Ingredient Preparation: Prepare and portion ingredients such as vegetables, proteins, and other items, following standardized recipes and portion sizes.
• Quality Control: Maintain high standards of taste, texture, and appearance for all ingredients.
• Station Setup: Organize the prep station with necessary ingredients, utensils, and equipment for efficient cooking.
• Food Safety: Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper storage, handling, and temperature monitoring.
• Timing: Work efficiently to ensure ingredients are ready during service hours.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Keep the prep area and equipment clean, sanitized, and well-maintained.
• Inventory Management: Monitor ingredient levels and notify the kitchen manager of shortages or replenishment needs.
• Menu Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with menu items, variations, and allergen information to assist kitchen staff and servers.
• Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations.

What You’ll Need:

• Ability to work 4pm - Midnight shift
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and knife skills.
• Commitment to food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
