Line Cook – Belmont Village Senior Living
Shift: 10:30 am – 6:30 pm (full‑time)
About the Role
As aдаться Line Cook, you will perform.Player multiple duties in our senior‑living community commercial kitchen. You will prepare, set‑up, service, and clean while maintaining a high quality of food, presentation, and safety. Your work will ensure an exceptional dining experience for residents and their guests.
Your Typical Responsibilities
- Prepare meals from scratch according to assigned recipe specifications and quality standards
- Follow recipes, manage portion control, and ensure attractive plate presentation
- Properly manage cooking times while efficiently handling several orders simultaneously
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures
- Follow checklists and company procedures to keep the kitchen stocked and well‑maintained at all times
- Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Professional, pleasant, and team‑oriented attitude
- Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
- Minimum 6 months of Line Cook experience in a high‑volume restaurant setting
- Proven success with basic culinary skills such as knife handling, accurate measurements, and cooking methods
- Ability to work assigned shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees
- All offers of employment are conditional based on successful completion of State and Federal background checks, drug screen, job‑related physical and TB test
