Job Summary

Responsible for cooking duties as assigned by the Restaurant Chef and General Manager, including preparing quality food, maintaining food prep areas, and adhering to safety and sanitation policies. This entry-level position aims to improve culinary skills.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Understanding of kitchen equipment and utensils
  • Basic knife skills
  • Knowledge of cooking temperatures for meats
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Preferred Experience

  • Previous restaurant kitchen experience
  • Classical chef training

Schedule

Varies, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays; hours depend on business needs.

  • Prepare and cook food safely and efficiently
  • Store food at proper temperatures
  • Maintain cleanliness of work and prep areas
  • Stock coolers and freezers
  • Provide quick and friendly service
