Job summary

MANUELA in Los Angeles is seeking a team-oriented cook for PM shifts, including weekends, to set up and prepare assigned stations, recreate chef-driven recipes, and maintain clean, organized workspaces.

You will communicate with the team on pars, adhere to health codes, and prepare family meals as needed. Minimum 1 year cooking experience and a valid food handler certificate required; tips additional compensation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year cooking experience in a chef-driven restaurant.
• Current food handler certification.
• Availability for PM shifts including Saturdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare assigned station
• Recreate recipes/dishes as provided by chef
• Communicate with team regarding pars to keep prep team ahead of the needs
• Clean, organize, and sanitize station
• Timely execution of dishes during service
• Organization and maintenance of storage areas, refrigerators, counters and shelves as needed
• Strict adherence to health code guidelines
• Prepare and cook family meal as needed.
