Job Requirements

The Alamo Kitchen Crew, including line cooks and dishwashers, are essential to our theaters. A successful Line Cook will manage station prep and kitchen cleanliness.

Our team members work collaboratively, understanding their role within the larger team to deliver an exceptional culinary experience for our guests.

CORE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Uphold standards of behavior aligned with our Core Values, Code of Conduct, and Operational Guidelines
• Maintain safety standards and follow protocols to ensure health for teams and guests
• Clean, prep, organize, and maintain kitchen and dishwashing areas
• Ensure all dishes, cutlery, and glassware are cleaned and sanitized efficiently to support food and drink flow
• Use tools like measuring cups, scales, and other equipment as per protocols
• Follow cleaning schedules, prep lists, and station guides to control waste and ensure quality
• Communicate needs and concerns with teammates and managers regularly
• Support food and beverage delivery as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 1 year experience in high-volume food production
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
• Active food handler certification
• Being an cinephile is a plus!

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Light lifting up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a kitchen environment with heat, steam, noise, and cleaning solutions
• Ability to operate in a busy, loud environment cautiously
