Job summary

Suser Restaurant Group is seeking a line cook to join our kitchen teams across Sparkies Kitchen & Bar, Stella's Table, and Union 212 Banquet Hall. You will prepare dishes using the freshest ingredients, keep the line organized and stocked, and contribute to cost control while adhering to health codes and proper labeling.

The ideal candidate brings line cook experience in a full-service setting, can follow recipes with speed and accuracy, and works well in a team-driven, high-energy environment.

Qualifications

• Line cook experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Ability to follow written recipes and process tickets quickly and accurately.
• Strong understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Knowledge of current culinary trends and efficient kitchen processes.
• Excellent communication with team; able to divide responsibilities and monitor progress.

The Role

Suser Restaurant Group Line Cooks take pride in every plate, ensuring each dish is picture‑perfect. You will use the freshest products, keep the line clean, organized, and stocked, and maintain cost control while following health code requirements, food rotation, labeling, and sanitation practices.

What We're Looking For

• Full‑service restaurant line cook experience preferred
• Able to follow written recipes and execute order tickets with speed and accuracy
• Excellent understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
• Current knowledge of culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills; able to divide responsibilities and monitor progress
• Comfortable working with a team in a fast‑paced kitchen environment
• Able to be on your feet for 8+ hours a day
• Able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time on a regular basis
• Passion for food and hospitality, strong work ethic, team‑first mentality
