PAY RATE: $16/HR
A Line Cook is responsible for the preparation of all food being served to the guests from the kitchen to specification, as ordered, for the guest. The Line Cook holds the highest amount of responsibility for the appearance and quality standards of the food and the tour of quality in the kitchen. The Line Cook is responsible for maintaining the safety and sanitation of the kitchen at all times.
Education: A High School diploma is desired but not essential. Must have basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
Experience: Previous experience is not required, but at least a year of similar experience is strongly desired. The position requires age verification on all government-regulated equipment possessing age restrictions.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds. Must possess the dexterity and stamina to endure a fast-paced environment for an entire shift. Must be able to bend, step, reach, carry, lift, wipe, stand, stoop, slice, and cut in order to perform the duties of the position. Must be able to communicate effectively with people in their surroundings.
Certification: Employees must complete the certification process by showing mastery of all company standards of excellence in their area, including a physical test where they demonstrate mastery of their station by making all items on their menu and maintaining the cleanliness and time standards of the station.
