Job Description:

Line cooks at Wholly Stromboli are responsible for enhancing the lives of their teammates and guests by creating a positive work environment, following delicious recipes, and developing their skills to grow within our industry.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

  1. Stock and set up kitchen stations
  2. Prepare food including cleaning and cutting ingredients, and cooking pasta dishes, sandwiches, sides, salads, pizzas, and stromboli
  3. Plating prepared foods in accordance with Wholly Stromboli brand standards
  4. Working with expo to ensure that orders are completed according to Wholly Stromboli brand standards and timely
  5. Ability to follow recipes accurately
  6. Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
  7. Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash
  8. Ensure that all food and other items are stored properly
  9. Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
Qualifications:

  1. 1 year previous cooking experience in a professional and fast-paced environment
  2. Willing to work a flexible schedule and weekends
  3. Ability to multitask efficiently
  4. Familiar with kitchen equipment and appliances
  5. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
  6. Team player with a courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor
  7. Ability to lift 50+ pounds
  8. Ability to work standing for 8+ hours
