Harmons Grocery in Farmington is seeking a kitchen associate to assist chefs with cooking, frying, and preparing menu items from recipes. You will manage stock levels, ensure proper holding temperatures, and provide outstanding service to customers in a fast-paced store kitchen.
The role requires knife skills, recipe reading, basic math, and a strong work ethic. Current Food Handler’s Permit is preferred; weekend/evening shifts are common. Work environment is busy and safety-focused.
$16.80 - $20.50 PER HOUR
GENERAL PURPOSE:
The purpose of this position is to maintain quality standards and product levels for the kitchen. This person will be assisting the chefs with preparing food for the kitchen, including cooking, frying, and preparing various food items from recipes, as well as ensuring all food is held at a safe temperature. This person will also be responsible for receiving and stocking products and providing exceptional customer service.
