Job summary

Es Vedra Cinemas is hiring a Line Cook to join our Hooky Entertainment venues. You will prepare and cook menu items to high standards, ensuring dishes are made to order with great presentation, while maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Ideal candidates have 18+ years old with prior line cook experience, knowledge of various cooking methods, and the ability to work holidays, nights, and weekends. Join a dynamic kitchen team at our entertainment-focused locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; culinary training or certification is a plus.
• Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role is required.
• Knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure all dishes are made to order and meet presentation guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Ensure all ingredients and supplies are readily available and properly stored.
• Monitor food quality and freshness.
• Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the correct temperature and meet the standards.
• Work closely with other kitchen team members to coordinate orders and ensure timely service.
• Communicate effectively with the team to manage kitchen workflow.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
• Assist with inventory checks and notify the Kitchen Manager of low stock levels.
• Ensure that food storage areas are organized and properly stocked.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Kitchen Manager.

Job Description

As a Line Cook at Hooky Entertainment / Es Vedra Cinemas, you will play a crucial role in preparing and cooking menu items to perfection. You will ensure that all food served meets our high standards of quality, taste, and presentation, contributing to an outstanding dining experience for our guests.
