Job summary

Snooze is hiring a Line Cook to help deliver our breakfast-forward menu with quality and care. You’ll work in a fast-paced kitchen, prep with a variety of tools, and ensure dishes meet safety and quality standards.

This role includes a supportive team environment and opportunities for development. Earn $17.00–$21.00 per hour with weekly pay and benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the restaurant industry.
• High-volume restaurant experience preferred (6 months).
• Able to communicate clearly with management and teammates.
• Must be at least 17 years old and authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality, food safety, sanitation, and timely service.
• Know all menu items, recipes, plating, and safety guidelines.
• Prepare food using knives, mixers, blenders, processors, scales, and portion bags.
• Cook with ovens, stoves, griddles, and broilers.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation.
• Handle products per Health Department standards and Snooze guidelines.

The Position Specifics

The Snooze Line Cook ensures that each Snooze food item is prepared with the highest quality, care, and craftsmanship. The best pancakes in all the land are in the hands of our Line Cooks. The responsibilities of this position include:

• Responsible for the quality, food safety/sanitation, and timeliness of dishes served
• Responsible for being well-acquainted with all menu items, recipes, plating guidelines, and sanitation/basic safety information
• Prepares a variety of food items using knives, electric mixers, immersion blenders, food processors, scales, and portion bags
• Prepares foods for service using ovens, gas stoves, griddles, and broilers
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work station and working area
• Handles all products properly in accordance with Health Department standards and Snooze guidelines

• fast paced. A minimum of 6 months experience in a high-volume restaurant setting preferred.

• able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
• at least 17 years of age and authorized to work in the US.

Certification Requirements

All county required food and alcohol serving certifications must be obtained prior to employment.
