Job summary

Waterford Hotel Group is seeking a Cook to prepare large volumes of food for events and banquets, and to assist the Executive Chef in ordering, inventory and prep. You will need a working knowledge of sanitation, nutrition, and allergy cross-contamination.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, flexible hours, and the ability to work with little supervision in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Cook Overview

This position will be responsible for cooking large volumes of food for events such as meetings and weddings as well as preparing items for an a la carte kitchen. They are responsible for reading food tickets, banquet event orders for specific needs of events. Assisting the Executive chef in ordering, preparing inventory and any food preparation needed. Must have a working knowledge of food sanitation, nutrition, and allergies cross contamination.

Responsibilities include:
