Job summary

Waterford Hotel Group is seeking a cook to prepare large volumes of food for events and banquets as well as items for an a la carte kitchen. You will read tickets and banquet orders, assist the Executive Chef with inventory, and ensure sanitation and allergen controls are maintained.

Strong teamwork and reliable schedule are essential. The role requires attention to detail, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Cook Overview

This position will be responsible for cooking large volumes of food for events such as meetings and weddings as well as preparing items for an a la carte kitchen. They are responsible for reading food tickets, banquet event orders for specific needs of events. Assisting the Executive chef in ordering, preparing inventory and any food preparation needed. Must have a working knowledge of food sanitation, nutrition, and allergies cross contamination.

Responsibilities include:
