Job summary

Ultipro is seeking an ent ry-level food preparation associate to prepare diverse food items for restaurant and banquet operations. You will ensure sanitation, rotate stock, and alert supervisors to any issues while maintaining safety practices.

• Requisitions inventory and receives supplies as necessary for daily production
• Ensures proper storage, dating, and rotation of food items
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance

Job description

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour BOE

Preparessufficient quantities offoodproductin accordancetoproduction plan or forecast needs.

Utilizes whole foodproductseliminatingany waste.

Maintains overall cleanliness and sanitation standards in assigned areas.

Alerts chef or supervisor of any equipment breakdowns, food overages, or shortagesin a timely manner.

Requisitions inventory and receive supplies as necessary for daily production.

Ensures proper storage of food items, wraps, dates, and rotates food items.

Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

Regular and reliable attendance.

Performs other duties asrequired.

Education/Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months relatedexperience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands

Frequently stands, uses hands, talks, hears, tastes and smells.

Regularly walks and reaches with hands and arms.

Occasionallysits,climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls.

Regularly lifts upto 50 pounds and occasionallylifts upto 100 pounds.
