LINE COOK

Easy Tiger, one of Austin's most beloved brands, is currently seeking both AM and PM part-time Line Cooks to join our South Lamar team!

REPORTS TO: BOH Managers

SALARY / GRADE LEVEL: Hourly / Non-Exempt

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

1. Stock and set up kitchen stations
2. Daily Cleaning, Opening, Closing, Deep Cleaning and Proper Sanitation Practices
3. Prepare food including cleaning and cutting ingredients, and cooking main dishes, sandwiches, sides, salads and snacks
4. Plating prepared foods based on KM's guidance
5. Working with expo to ensure that orders are completed according to Easy Tiger standards and on time
6. Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Two (2) years previous cooking experience in a professional and fast paced environment preferred
2. Current Texas Food Handlers Certification
3. Willing to work a flexible schedule and weekends
4. Ability to multitask efficiently
5. Familiar with kitchen equipment and appliances
6. Ability to follow recipes accurately
7. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
8. Team player with a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor
9. Ability to lift 50+ pounds
10. Ability to work standing for 8+ hours in kitchen conditions including heat above 100°F from line equipment and cold below 40°F from coolers and walk-in coolers
