Job Description:

Line Cooks are responsible for preparing, producing, and presenting menu items.

Essential Functions:

• Prepare dishes according to recipes and requests
• Work various shifts, including weekends
• Use tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Communicate clearly in written and spoken form
• Manage multiple tasks calmly under pressure
• Work in a busy environment with varying noise and temperature levels
• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Stand and walk for entire shifts, navigating stairs and uneven surfaces

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow portion controls and maintain quality standards
• Ensure food safety and proper handling
• Read thermometers accurately
• Communicate delays or issues to management
• Maintain inventory counts and communicate shortages
• Follow allergy procedures and special requests
• Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Be a team player and collaborate well with others
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Entry level, full-time position in management and manufacturing industries.
