The position ensures attention to detail in reading tickets and following precise recipes to deliver consistency to our guests. The role requires organization along with multitasking to not only prepare for expected volume but stay ahead throughout the shift. Nothing feels better than winning as a team.Responsibilities:Listen to the Customer:Prepare dishes to meet guest preferences, using a full understanding of food menus, packages, and classic recipes.Maintain open communication with the FOH team to ensure seamless delivery of guest orders and satisfaction.Be Respectful of Company Resources:Assist in putting away deliveries, storage rotation, and cooler organizationMaintain correct par levels and minimize wasteEnsure a high standard of hygiene, tidiness, and cleanliness is maintained to health codeAdhere to cleaning schedules, ongoing cleaning, including setup and breakdownFollow all health and safety guidelines maintaining to proper procedures and reporting to management any hazardous situation or incidentComply with the Company’s rules and procedures along with any reasonable requests made from management during a shiftShow Urgency:Report for all scheduled shifts punctually in proper attire to proper health and hygiene standardsCapability to multitask under pressure and produce menu items efficiently while working on multiple orders at onceCompile the daily prep list completing all tasks per station timely to standardCreate Positive Energy:Foster a collaborative kitchen environment by training junior team members and leading by example in upholding standards.Encourage teamwork and positivity among staff, even during high-pressure situations.Must be able to pass exams with a 90% or better in each of the following categories:FoodAll issued training and testing throughout employmentWork Environment/Physical Requirements:Current food handler’s certification maintained through employmentMinimum of 2 years’ experience preferably within a high-volume environmentAvailable to work various shift times and days, including weekends and holidaysAble to stand and/ or walk for long periods of timeAbility to lift over 50+ lbs. if necessaryAuthorized to legally work in the USLine Cook Compensation & Benefits:Hourly pay of $16-20, based on experience.Ability to enroll in Medical, Dental, Vision and other insurance benefits (for employees who maintain full-time status)Paid Time Off, Sick Time, and Paid Holiday (may vary depending on state and local laws)Ability to enroll in 401k, Medical FSA, Commuter benefits, etc.Employee Discount: 50% your total bill for you and up to five guests.The Company reserves the right in its absolute discretion to add to your duties or amend this job description at any time.
