Job summary

Penn Line Service is seeking a Bucket Operator to assist with the clearing and removal of trees along electrical power lines and rights-of-way. You will operate an aerial lift device (bucket truck) to reach branches interfering with electric lines and may climb trees using climbing equipment.

A minimum of 6 months verifiable bucket experience is required, with preference for CDL or valid driver license. Travel to multiple states is common, with overtime and storm duty as needed.

Qualifications

• 6 months verifiable experience trimming out of a bucket or running a bucket in utility line clearance or residential tree clearance setting.
• CDL license or valid driver license is preferred.
• Pesticide license would be beneficial but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Operate an aerial lift device (bucket truck) to reach branches interfering with electric lines.
• Operate chainsaws, pruners, and brush chipper as needed.
• May be called to climb trees using climbing equipment.
• Travel across multiple states with periods of overtime and emergency storm duty as required.
