Job summary

Penn Line Service, Inc. is seeking a Bucket Operator to support the clearing and removal of trees along electrical power lines and rights-of-way.

The role requires operating an aerial bucket truck to access branches near lines, with use of chain saws, pruners, and a brush chipper. A minimum of 6 months of verifiable bucket experience is expected; CDL is preferred and a pesticide license is beneficial but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of verifiable experience trimming from a bucket or operating a bucket in line clearance.
• CDL or valid driver’s license is preferred.
• A pesticide license is beneficial but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clearing and removal of trees along power lines and rights-of-way.
• Operate aerial bucket truck to reach interfering branches.
• Operate chain saws, pruners, and brush chipper; may climb trees if required.
• Travel across states (PA, MD, OH, VA, WV) with potential overtime.
