Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Conyers, GA is seeking a Line Captain to efficiently operate an assigned production line, conduct testing, labeling, and final inspection of finished goods. You will report to the Production Supervisor and work with a team to ensure quality and productivity on the line.

Responsibilities include assembling on the line, testing products, registering and labeling, recording electrical readings, and staging outputs for handoff while maintaining 6S and safety standards; the role

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• 1-2 years of manufacturing experience.
• 1-2 years of fabrication/machining preferred.

Line Captain

Location: Conyers, GA

We are looking for a Line Captain who will be responsible for effectively conducting testing, labeling of finished goods and final inspection of product in an assigned production line. This position reports to the Production Supervisor.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform assembly work in assigned production line
• Perform any required tests on finished product
• Register finished product and apply finished goods labels
• Document electrical reading on UR labels
• Perform final quality inspection and cleaning of product to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Properly stage finished product for appropriate hand off to next department
• Document hour-by-hour charts in assigned line
• Perform other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 1 - 2 years of manufacturing experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of fabrication/machining preferred

• Basic to intermediate computer skills. Able to use a computer and scanning devices to register finished products
