Job summary

Schwan's Company is seeking a production team member for the second shift in a food manufacturing environment. Starting pay is $17.25 per hour, with a $1.50 per hour shift differential for hours 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.; shift is 2nd and hours are 4:15 p.m.

to 1:45 a.m. This is a full-time role with opportunities for advancement. Responsibilities include unpacking materials, mixing ingredients, assembling products, and ensuring quality standards are met from raw materials through finished goods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 0 to 1 years of experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods on concrete floors.
• Strong manual dexterity; capable of repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions.
• Be adaptable to rotating schedules, including weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure that all products meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products; throw out or fix products as necessary; record waste as directed.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient/material problems and/or equipment breakdowns.
• Perform duties in compliance with USDA, OSHA, State, Federal, and company regulations (GMPs and safety).

What You Will Do:
