Job summary

The Swan Food Company is hiring for a full-time position in a food manufacturing environment. The third shift from 11:30pm with a starting pay of $18.75/hr plus a $1.50/hr shift differential offers opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include receiving and processing raw materials, ensuring product quality, and maintaining compliance with GMP, USDA, OSHA, and safety policies, with weekly Friday pay and PTO eligibility.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk on concrete floors.
• Strong manual dexterity for repetitive hand/wrist/arm motions.
• Willingness to work rotating schedules, including weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble product, and package finished goods.
• Ensure all products meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products and document waste; take action on defective items as directed.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient/material problems, or equipment breakdowns.
• Perform duties in compliance with USDA/OSHA and GMP safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble product, and package finished goods.
• Ensure that all products (from raw materials to finished product) meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products; throwing out or fixing products as necessary; writing down amount of waste as directed.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient/material problems and/or equipment breakdowns
• Perform all duties in compliance with existing USDA, OSHA, State, Federal, and company regulations, policies, and procedures (including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and safety regulations)

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 0 to 1 years of experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods on concrete floors.
• Strong manual dexterity; capable of performing repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions.
• Be adaptable to rotating schedules, including weekends and overtime as needed.
