Job summary

Monroechamber is seeking a Line Attendant for the 11:00pm–7:20am shift (Sunday–Thursday) in Wisconsin. You will collaboratively feed, set up, and operate production lines, ensuring quality and safety for cheese products.

The role demands the ability to stand 8–12 hours, lift 40–50 pounds, and maintain accurate records. Responsibilities include cross-training, material handling, sanitation, and daily documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to understand, read, and write in English.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to walk/stand for 8-12 hours.
• Regularly lifting 40-50 pounds.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in warm/cool environments (55 - 80 degrees).

Responsibilities

• Cross-training across all production lines.
• Removing raw materials from pallets, totes, bags, or cartons; feeding production lines per product specifications.
• Performing equipment setup, changeovers, cleaning, and minor assembly.
• Inspecting cheese and materials for quality or foreign matter; cleaning or segregating product as needed.
• Conducting in-process quality checks and completing required documentation.
• Packaging, boxing, scanning, and palletizing finished products; removing completed pallets from production areas.
• Operating processing, packaging, lot dating, palletizing, and material-handling equipment.
• Maintaining sanitation, housekeeping, and safety standards in all work areas.
• Tracking material movement using touch screens and data collection devices.
• Reporting food safety or quality concerns.
