Job summary

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity for a Line Attendant in Plymouth, WI. This is a potential for hire position. The role includes cross-training across production lines, feeding lines per product specs, equipment setup, quality checks, and packaging tasks.

Shifts are 12-hour weekend days or nights, with hours 6:00am-6:00pm or 6:00pm-6:00am (Friday - Sunday). Wage ranges from $21.55 to $24.00 per hour, and a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to understand, read, and write in English.
• Basic math skills required.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cross-train and work across all production lines.
• Remove raw materials from pallets and feed production lines per product specs.
• Perform equipment setup, changeovers, cleaning, and minor assembly.
• Inspect cheese and materials for quality; clean or segregate product as needed.
• Conduct in-process quality checks and document results.
• Package, box, scan, and palletize finished products; remove pallets.
• Operate processing, packaging, and material-handling equipment.
• Maintain sanitation, housekeeping and safety standards.
• Track material movement using touch screens and data collection devices.
• Report food safety or quality concerns.

• Removing raw materials from pallets, totes, bags, or cartons; feeding production lines per product specifications
• Performing equipment setup, changeovers, cleaning, and minor assembly
• Inspecting cheese and materials for quality or foreign matter; cleaning or segregating product as needed
• Conducting in-process quality checks and completing required documentation
• Packaging, boxing, scanning, and palletizing finished products; removing completed pallets from production areas
• Operating processing, packaging, lot dating, palletizing, and material-handling equipment
• Maintaining sanitation, housekeeping, and safety standards in all work areas
• Tracking material movement using touch screens and data collection devices
• Reporting food safety or quality concerns

Requirements for Line Attendant:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to understand, read, and write in English
• Basic math skills
• Ability to walk/stand for 8-12 hours
• Regularly lifting 40-50 pounds
• Strong communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in warm/cool environments (55 - 80 degrees)
