Job summary

The NOW Massage in Chicago, IL is seeking licensed massage therapists to join our in-person team. You will deliver a range of services, educate guests on the benefits of massage, and contribute to a calm, healing environment.

This role requires Illinois licensure, knowledge of Swedish and Deep Tissue modalities, and availability nights, weekends, and holidays. We offer full- and part-time opportunities, competitive pay, health insurance, and CEU support.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a massage therapist in Illinois.
• Must present license/certificate during the interview and maintain it.
• Desire to be part of a team with passion for health and wellness.
• Knowledge of Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage and other modalities.
• Availability during prime earning potential periods including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Stand for up to 6 hours and perform room resetting tasks as required.
• Manual dexterity to operate massage equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Share the healing power of touch to inspire and transform through massage therapy.
• Educate guests on the benefits of massage therapy.
• Support and be supported, teach, and be taught by a diverse team of professionals.
• Provide therapeutic massage through a variety of modalities (Prenatal, Sports, Stretching Techniques, etc.).
• Maintain service rooms to standards; all supplies are provided.
• Full-time and part-time positions available; licensed therapists at all experience levels are encouraged to apply.

  • Must present a license/certificate during the interview process and maintain it throughout employment if hired.
• Desire to be part of a team that has an infectious passion for health and wellness.
• Knowledge of Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage and other modalities.
• Availability during prime earning potential periods including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill room resetting tasks and all massage service protocols. Requires grasping, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and hearing ability and visual acuity.
• Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
