Physicians Care is looking for experienced Limited License X-Ray Technologists/Medical Assistants to join our team at our center in East Ridge, TN

The Urgent Team Family of Centers provides quality and affordable family healthcare at more than 80 locations under eight brands.

Physicians Care’s convenient, walk-in centers provide a range of healthcare services including treatments for injuries and illnesses, occupational health and wellness care. The centers are open seven days a week: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Additionally, all Physicians Care centers are Accredited Care Centers – a designation from the Urgent Care Association which recognizes the company’s commitment to safety, quality, and scope of services.

Key Responsibilities
The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Performs timely radiology procedures for evaluation and treatment by attending physician.
  • Performs quality control procedures to ensure high-quality exams.
  • Prepares patients for radiologic procedures, following safety and care protocols, including radiation protection and shielding techniques.
  • Ensures equipment is in proper working order and reports malfunctions.
  • Completes documentation related to patient visits.
  • Maintains and improves diagnostic imaging knowledge and skills.
  • Maintains current licensure and certification for radiology equipment and personnel.
What’s Required?
  • High school diploma or equivalent; skills in Medical Assisting required.
  • State X-Ray license or willingness to obtain upon hire.
