Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Medical Assistant with X-Ray (LMRT/LXMO) to support medical providers, radiologic staff, and patients. You will perform limited X-ray imaging, assist in patient care management, and report results to providers, starting from six months of age.

The role emphasizes collaboration, professional judgment, and timely, high-quality care in a fast-paced urgent care setting. Competitive pay, benefits, 5 weeks PTO, and EMR training (Epic/ECW) are offered.

Qualifications

• BLS required at time of hire.
• Limited X-Ray Medical Assistant License.
• State license as applicable.
• One of the following certifications within 12 months: ARMA, CCMA, CMA, RMA, NCMA, NRCMA.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants for patient care management and communication.
• Perform limited X-ray imaging to assist in diagnosis or treatment for patients starting at six months old.

In a collaborative manner, the Medical Assistantwith X-Ray (LMRT/LXMO) will provide support to the Medical Providers, Radiologic Technologist, and patients through a variety of tasks, including but not limited to patient care management, organization and communication. This role is responsible for performing limited capacity x-rays for patients and reporting results to Medical Providers.

What you’ll do for our patients:

• Collaborate with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.
• Exercise professional judgment to provide health care services, which include applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups starting at six months of age to the elderly.

• Basic Life Support (BLS): required at time of hire
• Limited X-Ray Medical Assistant License
• State License as applicable

• CCMA- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (verified through NHA, National Healthcareer Association)
• CMA- Certified Medical Assistant (verified through AAMA, American Association of Medical Assistant)

• NCMA- National Certified Medical Assistant (verified through NCCT, National Center for Competency Testing)
