Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Oregon teaching license with applicable Special Education endorsements.
• Criminal history clearance.
• Strong English communication skills, with Spanish or Russian if assigned.
• Leadership and facilitation abilities; problem solving and conflict resolution.
• Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of SPED law and district policies.

Responsabilités

• Communicates effectively in English in oral and written form.
• Uses assessments to determine eligibility and design learning activities.
• Organizes and conducts IEP meetings and maintains records.
• Provides recommendations on materials, methods, and adaptations for identified students.
• Delivers specially designed instruction to meet IEP goals and standards.
• Trains and supervises Special Education Assistants.
• Keeps student behavior orderly and maintains a positive learning environment.
• Maintains confidential records in compliance with laws and district policies.
