Position Description | The School of Music at Georgia State University in Atlanta seeks to hire a non-tenure track Limited Term Lecturer in Bands to begin in the 2025-26 academic year. This is a full-time, one-year position with the possibility of renewal for a second year, and it is eligible for full health and retirement benefits (see GSU Benefits). The successful candidate will play a vital role in the School of Music as an educator furthering Georgia State's strategic goal of demonstrating that students can achieve academic and career success at high rates. Responsibilities The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching excellence; execute teaching a pedagogically sound curriculum in line with Georgia State University's commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching; and will teach the equivalent of four three-credit-hour courses per academic semester.
