Position Summary:

The Department of Communication Studies at the University of Georgia invites applications for a Limited-Term Instructor of Communication Studies to begin in January 2027. The course load is up to 12 credit hours per semester, primarily focusing on COMM 1110, Introduction to Public Speaking and/or COMM 1500, Introduction to Interpersonal Communication. Responsibilities include teaching and monitoring students. Limited-term faculty may be renewed annually for a maximum of two years. Any request for reappointment beyond the second year requires pre-approval by the Provost.

Additional Requirements:

• At least two years of college-level public speaking teaching experience.
• Candidates must be currently legally eligible to work in the United States.
