Job summary

Carilion Clinic seeks a Limited Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic X-rays and support clinic operations. You will operate DR and PACS, prepare patients, verify orders, and ensure safety and quality of imaging.

The role requires a Virginia Limited Medical Radiology Technician license, ability to obtain AHA BLS-HCP within 30 days, and strong interpersonal skills for teamwork and patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from Radiological Sciences - Limited program.
• Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills; strong communication.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-rays in the diagnostic setting following safety rules.
• Operate DR and PACS equipment and maintain records.
• Prepare patients and position for imaging; explain procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organize the work area.
• Follow ALARA radiation protection principles.
