Job summary

University Hospitals is seeking a Limited Permit Respiratory Student – PRN to support respiratory care activities under supervision. The role involves learning and applying hospital standards while gaining hands-on experience in essential respiratory procedures.

The incumbent will perform airway clearance therapy, monitor patients, and assist with oxygen/humidity therapy and data collection. Enrollment in an accredited respiratory care program is required, along with an Ohio Limited Practice

A Brief Overview

The Respiratory Care Assistant is learning and incorporating the mission statement and standards of behavior of his/her hospital or care facility. This Assistant performs basic competencies within orientation and provides satisfactory respiratory care independently post verification of education and completed competency.
