Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in New York is seeking a House Officer (Limited Permit Physician) to join our team. You will work under supervision to deliver high-quality patient care while meeting NYS licensure guidelines.

The role offers on-site duties at our 220-bed teaching hospital, with a competitive salary and benefits package. Ideal candidates have completed required exams and are eligible for a NYS Limited Permit.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited medical school (MD, DO, or equivalent).
• Successful completion of required USMLE or COMLEX examinations.
• Eligibility for or possession of New York State Limited Permit to practice medicine.
• Strong clinical skills and medical knowledge.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively under supervision.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR).

Responsabilidades

• Conduct patient examinations, obtain medical histories, and document findings accurately and comprehensively.
• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the supervising physician.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests under the direction of the supervising physician.
• Provide appropriate medical treatment and management of patient conditions as directed by the supervising physician.
• Prescribe medications (if permitted under the supervising physician's scope and facility policies).
• Perform medical procedures within the scope of their training and as authorized by the supervising physician.
• Provide patient education and counseling on health maintenance, disease management, and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
