Job summary

Texas Joint Institute in McKinney, TX is seeking a Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) to join our team. The LMRT performs radiographic duties in accordance with state requirements and licenses, operating imaging equipment to produce diagnostic X-rays.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent with education and training from an accredited radiology sciences program per state requirements required
• Experience in a medical office setting preferred
• Possession of active and unrevoked Radiology certification required
• LMRT license in state of residency or Basic X‑ray license/certification per state requirements
• BLS may be required as per practice standard

Responsibilities

• Performs all x‑ray views according to provider’s orders, under state law and in compliance with licenses.
• Monitors the equipment for mechanical safety. Communicate with any problems or unusual situations with leadership in an appropriate manner.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all equipment and upgrades.
• Works with all clinic staff to ensure efforts are coordinated and that patients receive high quality care and services.
• Works as a team member to ensure clinic efficiencies are within guidelines.
• Understands and follows radiation safety, company compliance programs, policies and procedures.
