Job summary

The Olen Corporation is seeking a Foreperson for Columbus, Ohio operations to lead surface limestone, sand, and gravel facilities. You will support the Plant Manager, drive safe, efficient production, and uphold environmental responsibility.

Ideal candidates bring strong leadership and communication skills, mining or construction management background, and an Ohio Foreman’s license. Outdoor work, occasional extended hours, and lifting up to 50 lbs are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in mining engineering or construction management preferred.
• Experience as limestone foreman is a plus.
• Ohio Foreman’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support surface limestone, sand and gravel operations.
• Oversee daily operations with production, quality, maintenance, and safety.
• Ensure MSHA compliance and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with equipment operators, mechanics, and QC teams.
• Track production, maintenance and safety records.
• Assist Plant Manager and act in their absence.
• Monitor inventory and drive continuous improvement.
