Job summary

Carmeuse North America is hiring a Loader/Operator to join our team on a 12-hour rotating shift. You will load hydrated lime, quick lime, and by-products into trucks and rail cars, ensuring proper weights while maintaining a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities include reading and using operator manuals, completing simple reports, reporting hazards, and assisting other workers as needed. We foster safety and teamwork across our North American operations.

Qualifications

• Complete safety, health and task training.
• Read and use operator manuals and fill out simple reports.
• Know safety, environmental and other regulations needed for the job.

Responsibilities

• Load hydrated lime, quick lime, and by-products into trucks and rail cars to proper weight.
• Inspect work areas for safety hazards before starting work.
• Replaces or assists other workers as needed to meet shift requirements.
• Carry out duties and follow supervisor's standards of performance.
