Job Description

  • Assists the Community Manager in managing all aspects of the community's leasing, file preparation, maintaining high occupancy, rent collections and maintenance coordination.
  • Communicates with tenants regarding property-related issues.
  • Coordinates maintenance services for residents.
  • Collaborates with the corporate property marketing team to produce advertising materials.
  • Meets with prospective tenants to show properties, conduct interviews, quickly process rental applications and explain terms of occupancy and tax credit rules.
  • Conduct credit checks.
  • Collects monthly fees and maintains records of payments and rental activity.
  • Prepares budgets and financial reports along with the Community Manager.
  • Investigates and helps to resolve complaints, disturbances and violations.
  • Complies with anti-discrimination laws with regard to housing, renting and advertising.
  • Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
  • Create and distribute marketing materials to attract new tenants and conduct market surveys.
  • Maintain organized and updated resident files and records.
  • Report any problems or issues to the Community manager.

Qualifications:
Qualifications

  • Must know Tax Credit LIHTC Section 42 rental programs - Required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent writing skills. Second language always a plus.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to perform light physical labor.

**This job requires flexibility with scheduling and occasionally covering for a nearby sister property.

Additional Information

Property: Radcliffe Place - 135 units

Pay Range: $28.00 (Hourly)

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00AM - 6:00PM
