Job summary

Highland Property Management, Inc. seeks an Apartment Maintenance Technician to perform light construction tasks and custodial duties. Responsibilities include carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, exterior upkeep, and move-in ready unit preparation.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in apartment maintenance and customer service, with professionalism around residents, strong confidentiality, and basic computer skills for work orders. A clean background and drug test are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of apartment maintenance experience or equivalent.
• 2 years of direct customer service experience with residential or other clients.
• Professionalism with coworkers and residents while working in and around apartment complex.
• Confidentiality policies in accordance with resident rights.
• Computer skills for completing and recording work order information.
• Certification or apprenticeship in electrical, plumbing or carpentry maintenance.
• Spirited initiative, resourcefulness, entrepreneurial approach, and barrier removal.
• Clean background and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Carpentry: Remodel and repair work.
• Plumbing and Household electrical work.
• Exterior building maintenance.
• Custodial work for move-in ready units.
• Other duties as assigned.
